03 - Les préparatifs . . . Preparation . . .

Un premier périple d’un mois en 2004 m’avait déjà demandé un an de préparation, préparatifs qui m’ont bien sûr beaucoup servi pour ce périple d’aujourd’hui. Je possédais donc déjà l’essentiel du matériel ainsi qu’une certaine connaissance dans la préparation et les démarches à effectuer, renforcé par les conseils d’Agnès et Gérard (frère et belle-sœur) expérimentés en la matière après un périple de 2 ans et 7 mois à travers le monde (eh oui, c’est contagieux…leur blog : http://www.accordeonosvelos.free.fr)

I done a first departure in 2004 during 1 month, but which had already needed about 1 year of preparation, preparation who was useful of course for this trip of today. I thus had already essential of the material and a knowledge in the preparation and the steps carried out, reinforced by the councils of Agnes and Gerard (brother and sister-in-law) who ave experience after a trip around the world cycling, during 2 years and 7 months ( yes, it’s contagious…)

Je l’ai fait réalisé sur mesure en 2004 chez cet excellent fabricant/artisan qu’est FRAMY’S à la Ville aux Dames (37). Son poids est de 16 kg.  

I did make it especially for my body in 2004 by an excellent manufacturer/craftsman professional: FRAMY’S, la Ville aux Dames (37) FRANCE. Its weight is 16 kg.  

L’équipement    The equipment 

Le poids total de mon chargement fait 45 kg. Je ne listerai pas en détail le matériel emporté mais il fort probable que je n'utiliserai pas la totalité transportée.

The total weight of my loading is 45 kg. I will not list in detail the carried materiel but it's extremely probable that I will not use all.

Les démarches et documents    Steps and documents  

Mon périple n’étant pas limité dans la durée, j’ai donc du faire les démarches et effectuer les résiliations en fonction. 

My tour not being limited in the duration, I have thus to make the steps and to carry out the cancellations in function.
